Embark on your transpacific
flight from Los Angels to Bangkok,
Thailand.
Day 2 Friday Arrive Bangkok
Upon arrival in Bangkok – the “Land
of Smiles,” you will be
met and escorted to your hotel.
Day 3 Saturday
Bangkok - Vientiane B
After breakfast at
hotel, transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane,
capital of Laos.
Situated in a bend of the Mekong River amidst fertile alluvial plains, Vientiane is a laid-back
city with interesting temples and lively markets. Today you will visit some of
these temples including Pha That Luang (Great Sacred Reliquary or Great Stupa)
- the most important national monument in Laos - functioning as a dual symbol
of the Buddhist religion and the Lao nation. You will also visit TALAAT SAO -
the local market that sells a wide range of fabrics, jewelry and electronic
goods.
Day 4 Sunday Vientiane - Luang Prabang B
After breakfast at
the hotel, you will take a short flight
to Luang Prabang, an ancient capital city of the Lan Xang Kingdom. It is famous for its historic
temples and beautiful setting surrounded by mountains. In 1995 it was
designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour to the temples of various styles
and appreciate some ancient masterpieces of Lao art.
Day 5 Monday Luang Prabang B
Today you will take a
boat excursion to the Pak Ou Caves. Located in the steep rock cliff at the
confluence of the Mekong
River and Ou River, these
two caves are filled with Buddha images of varying styles, ages and sizes.
Later, visit a village near the Pak Qu Caves and then the recently excavated
Thing Hong cave.
Day 6 Tuesday Luang Prabang – Vientiane B
Explore the National Museum,
originally constructed as the Royal Palace that now houses the Royal throne of the Lan Xang
Kingdom and many other
pieces of regalia and religious treasures. Later visit Phu Si to enjoy an
excellent view of the town. Continue to Ban Phanom, a village well known for
hand weaving cotton and silk. Tour Mouhot’s Tomb – holding the remains of the
French explorer Henri Mouhot, known as the man who discovered Angkor Wat. Fly
back to Vientiane.
Day 7 Wednesday Vientiane
- Hanoi –
Halong B
Fly from Vientiane to Hanoi and then
transfer to Halong
Bay.
Day 8 Thursday
Halong – Hanoi B
Today you will
discover Halong Bay
– “Bay of Descending Dragon” on a 4-hour boat
cruise. The picturesque Halong Bay is comprised of over 3,000 small jagged limestone
islands that arise from the South China Sea.
Day 9 Friday
Hanoi
B
Hanoi,
a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks, is the capital of Vietnam. It is
a very attractive city with French style buildings and less traffic than other
cities in Asia. You will explore Hanoi’s cultural and historic highlights via a tour to One
Pillar Pagaoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and St.
Joseph Cathedral.

Day 10 Saturday
Hanoi – Hue B
Fly from Hanoi to Hue.
Enjoy an included tour to Imperial City, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai
Hoa
Palace, Halls of the
Mandarins, Nine Dynasty Urns, Forbidden
Purple City,
Tu Duc Tomb and Dong Ba market.
Day 11 Sunday
Hue – Danang B
This morning, you
will take an excursion on the Huong
Giang River
to the Thien Mu Pagoda Then drive to
Danang via Hai Van Pass and Lang Co. The famous Hai Van Pass is an incredible
mountainous stretch of highway with spectacular views . Lang Co is a pretty
island-like stretch of palm-shaded sand with a crystal- clear lagoon on one
side and beachfront facing the South China Sea.
Arrive in Danang - Vietnam's
fourth largest city. You will tour Cham Museum, China Beach and Marble Mountains.
Day 12 Monday
Danang – Saigon B
This morning, you
will take a walking tour through Hoi An, a picturesque riverside town south of
Danang. Known as Faifo to early western traders, it was one of Southeast Asia's major international ports during the
17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Afterwards, fly to Saigon.
Day 13 Tuesday
Saigon B
Saigon
is the largest Vietnamese city, with the hustle and bustle of Vietnamese life
visible everywhere. There are street markets, sidewalk cafes and sleek new
bars. The city churns and bubbles. Yet within this teeming metropolis are 300
years of timeless traditions and the beauty of an ancient culture. City tour
includes Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall, War Remnants
Museum, Thien Hau Pagoda
and Cholon – the “Big Market”.
Day 14 Wednesday
Saigon - Phnom B
Fly across the border
to Cambodia’s capital – Phnom Penh. The city is
considered to be the loveliest of the French-built cities of Indochina.
Visit the Royal Palace
and Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Wat Phnom, Wat Ounalom, Tuol Sleng Museum and Central Market.
Day 15 Thursday
Phnom Penh - Siem B
After a short flight,
arrive at Siem Reap, where the stunning Angkor Wat complex is located. Visit
Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon and Ta Prohm.
Day 16 Friday
Siem Reap B
You have a full day
to explore Angkor Wat by visiting the following: Banteay Srei, Banteay Samre,
Ta Keo, Ta Prohm, Sras Srang, Ta Som, and Eastern Mebon.
Day 17 Saturday
Siem Reap - Bangkok B
Today we bid farewell
to Angkor Wat as we fly to Bangkok.
Upon arrival you are met and escorted to your hotel. Rest of the day is
free.
Day 18 Sunday
Bangkok B
Today you will
discover Bangkok by visiting three of the most gorgeous Buddhist temples in
Bangkok: Wat Traimitr with its impressive 3-metre tall, 5-ton heavy solid gold
Buddha image which gleams like no other gold artifact; Wat Pho, Bangkok’s
oldest and largest temple, featuring the largest reclining Buddha, and the
Marble Temple, a prime example of modern Thai architecture.
Day 19 Monday

Today our journey
comes to an end as we board our flight home.
