BASIC 9- AND 13-DAY CHINA PACKAGES SEEK
TO MAKE A HIT
WITH 'DON'T-DARE-MISS' CITIES PLUS SPECIAL GUARANTEES
NEW YORK -- Making the unfamiliar, familiar -- especially when
it is impossible to see everything the length and breadth of a
country of more than a billion people -- are at the heart of
two basic say-hello-to-China packages from Asia Classic Tours
throughout 2005. Both the 9- and 13-day stays include the
"must-see" cities of Beijing and Shanghai (along with others),
and offer special guarantees that translate into further
enticement regarding any visit. Should vacationers care to
customize these ACT packages with add-on itineraries, it is
possible to do so.
Land-only priced from $999 per person, double from now until
year's end (air-inclusive plans available from LAX, SFO and
other U.S. cities), the West Coast departures for the 9-day
"Classic China" package are Wednesdays with returns the
following Thursdays. Features include five days in Beijing and
visits to the Great Wall, Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden
City, the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. Three days in
Xi'an provide sightseeing stops to see the famous Terra Cotta
Army, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda built in 652 AD and the
Shaanxi Provincial Museum, before the two-hour flight to
Shanghai to absorb the high energy of this bustling city and
prominent attractions such as Yuyun Garden and the Jade Buddha
Temple. Accommodations, meals, cultural entertainment and
English-speaking guides are all covered during the China stay.
A longer Asia Classic Tours' "Super Value China Splendor"
package, land-only priced from $1,109 per person, double
(depending upon departure date chosen), is 13 days in duration
and not only includes sightseeing stays in Beijing, Xi'an and
Shangai, but the additional opportunity to visit Guillin, one
of China's most beautiful cities (where a full-day cruise on
the Li River is offered), and Zhujiajao, an ancient river-town
known for its ancient arched bridges and elegant gardens.
"There are several package bonuses to these offerings that
make them particularly appealing as compared with those
offered elsewhere," notes Asia Classic Tours president Sophia
Lin. " For one thing, departure dates are completely
guaranteed whether it is for a group of 20 or as few as two
vacationers making arrangements. Secondly, luggage handling is
complimentary for all of our tours. Attractive as well, is the
fact that a travel protection plan is offered free (a $109
value) if full payment is received 90 days prior to
departure."
Asia Classic Tours prides itself on customization, Lin points
out, and should the vacationer care to shape and extend the
timeframe of a stay to visit, for example, Hong Kong, Macau or
other parts of China, it can easily be accomplished.
