ANCIENT AND MODERN   Itinerary: Day 1 USA / China   Day 2 Arrive Shanghai. Tour starts: Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Our professional bilingual tour guide will meet you at the airport, escort you to your hotel and help you check in. Take a good rest and be ready for tomorrow’s sightseeing. Day 3 Shanghai / Suzhou (B.L.SD) This morning, you will experience Shanghai by visiting the newly renovated French Concession, the fabled waterfront – the Bund and then enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shanghai. from Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Late afternoon, you will take be transferred to Suzhou, proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its 2,000-year-old gardens which have been described as living poems. Check-in Xinluo International Hotel located right next to Golden Rooster Lake. Tonight, you are invited to a welcome dinner at hotel.   Day 4 Suzhou (B, L, D) After breakfast, you will discover the beautiful surrounding of Golden Rooster Lakeside and the New Developing Zoon. Then you will visit a classic Chinese garden - the Master’s Nets Garden before you pay a visit to admire the fine-intricate designs at Silk Embroidery Research Institute. Later you will visit the Garden of Lion Rock Forest, the Ancient Water City Gate across the Grand Canal and finally cruise along the picturesque ancient Grand Canal Day 5 Suzhou / Hangzhou (B, L, D) This morning you will be transferred to Hangzhou. - “Paradise on Earth”. Arrive at Hangzhou in the afternoon. You will take a boat ride on the beautiful West Lake to Yanggong Causey. Visit Garden of Guo Zhuang Villa by the lakeside and have a tea break while enjoying the views. Day 6 Hangzhou (B, L, D) Visit Ancient Ink & Calligraphy Society and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from Isolated Hill. Then stroll along Qinghefang Ancient Street where you will visit a Chinese Herb Medicine Museum and Hu Xueyan Mansion - an ancient rich man’s Garden House. Day 7 Hangzhou / Wuzhen (B, L, SD) This morning, you will pass a forest valley to Dragon Well Tea Plantation. Then you will be driven along Fuchuan River to Pagoda of Six Harmony. After lunch, you will arrive at Wuzhen – the last authentic water-town. You will take a boat ride to check-in your deluxe Wuzhen Waterside Hotel. The rest of the day you are free to explore this ancient water-town on your own. This evening, you are invited to a local banquet. Day 8 Wuzhen – Shanghai (B, L SD) Morning at is at leisure. You will be transferred back to Shanghai. Check-in your hotel. You may opt out to see more of Shanghai or do your last minute shopping. Enjoy your Farewell Banquet in the evening. Day 9 Shanghai (B) Bid farewell to Shanghai and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
